(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) Sun De'an, President of the World Chinese Writers Association, recently announced the appointment of Bruneian poet, writer, and cultural worker Yang Zhensheng as President of the Asian Chinese Writers Association. Yang will be responsible for organizing and promoting Chinese literary and cultural exchanges in Asia, working together to bring the cause of Chinese literature to a new stage of development.

Yang Zhensheng is a well-known poet, writer, and cultural leader in Brunei. He currently serves as President of the Brunei Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Cultural Association. Over the years, he has actively promoted calligraphy art, Chinese cultural education, and social cultural activities, earning a good reputation in Brunei's Chinese community.
He has long been committed to promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture, actively participating in international cultural exchange affairs, and maintaining close ties with cultural organizations at home and abroad, playing a positive role in promoting cultural mutual learning and people-to-people friendship.
In recent years, Yang Zhensheng has planned and hosted a number of large-scale international cultural events with remarkable results.
