On the day of the Lantern Festival, the 23rd "Liangma Celebrate the Lantern Festival Together" Lantern Fair opened at Langqi Hongguang Lake Park in Fuzhou's Mawei District, where visitors from both sides of the strait praised the lanterns highly. This was the first lantern festival since the successful UNESCO inscription of the Spring Festival, which included the Mawei-Mazu Lantern Festival Customs.
