《Private Detective》 is distributed by Mega Films Distribution, produced by Soi Cheang, directed by Li Zijun and Zhou Wenru, and written by Zhou Wenru. It stars Louis Koo, Chrissie Chau, Raymond Wong, Liu Guanting, Yang Siwing, Zhang Zhaohui, Shiga Lin, Pei Yong, and Cai Xiangyu, with a special appearance by Kwan Tak-hing. The movie will investigate a series of romantic murder cases across Malaysia, unraveling the deadly truth on June 12.
The movie tells the story of Ouyang Weiye (played by Louis Koo), an ordinary private detective who accidentally gets involved in a horrifying murder during a surveillance mission. A young woman is brutally murdered, with ghastly bloodstains around her neck. However, this is just the beginning — a bizarre rainy night car accident, an innocent woman forced to die, a bride-to-be tragically poisoned before her wedding... When Pandora's box opens in blood, a hunting game named after a love debt officially begins.
