On the afternoon of the 8th, pop superstar Rihanna’s mansion in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, reportedly came under gunfire from a woman. The suspect has been identified as 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz, who is now charged with attempted murder.
According to Page Six, police have confirmed that Ivanna Ortiz, the woman involved in the shooting at Rihanna’s mansion, was arrested on the 8th and charged with attempted murder by the Los Angeles Police Department. She is currently being held at the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Center, with bail set at $10,225,000 (approximately 40.25 million Malaysian Ringgit).
Reportedly, 38-year-old Rihanna was inside the mansion at the time of the incident, but it is unclear which other family members were present. A source told People magazine that Rihanna is “safe and unharmed.” Following the shooting, police have set up yellow police tape around her residence. An LAPD spokesperson stated that no one was injured in the incident and added, “This is an ongoing investigation being handled by the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division.” The suspect’s motive for shooting at Rihanna’s home is still unknown and under police investigation. #
