(Seria, 21st) Dato Sri Lin Changzhen, President of the Brunei Taipei Overseas Chinese Association and member of the Brunei-Muara District Sultan's 79th Birthday Celebration Committee, recently hosted a special breakfast for two old friends: former Chief Reporter of See Hua Daily Huang Jiasheng and veteran Borneo Times journalist Ah Zhong. The three, together with their families, enjoyed breakfast at 89 INTL Cuisine restaurant in Kiulap, sharing a warm and congenial atmosphere.

The trio have known each other for decades and once worked together in the local news industry. During the gathering, they reminisced about their past, recalling the days when they fought side by side in journalism, and engaged in in-depth discussions about the current media landscape and changes in local Chinese-language newspapers.

Huang Jiasheng sentimentally expressed that it had been seven years since he last saw Ah Zhong, making this reunion especially gratifying. He thanked Lin Changzhen for arranging the breakfast, which allowed old friends who had been apart for years to gather again and rekindle their old friendship.

This simple yet extraordinary breakfast not only strengthened their bonds of friendship but also reignited their passion for news and evoked cherished memories, leaving behind a heartwarming and unforgettable moment.
