The Thai Prime Minister's Office stated that Prime Minister Anutin attended a trilateral meeting between Thailand, the Philippines, and Cambodia in Cebu, Philippines, on the 7th to discuss the situation at the Thai-Cambodian border.
Rachada, spokesperson for the Thai Prime Minister's Office, said that Anutin, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, and the Philippine side jointly discussed the Thai-Cambodian border situation.
At the press conference held after the meeting that day, Anutin said: “I just had a friendly and frank discussion with Prime Minister Hun Manet. Both sides have once again confirmed that we will work together and strive for peace through dialogue.”
Anutin stated that Thailand and Cambodia will assign their respective foreign ministers to work closely together and formulate a series of confidence-building measures.
