Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated on the evening of the 12th that Israel is crushing the Iranian regime, while also combating and crushing its Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah.
This was Netanyahu's first televised press conference since Israel and the United States launched military actions against Iran.
Netanyahu pointed out that Israel is destroying Iran's nuclear infrastructure, missile and launcher arrays, military headquarters, centers of power, and more targets.
He said: "We will take the initiative and launch attacks on Iran with unprecedented force."
He said that they have the capability to deal with Iran, which is the greatest threat to Israel's survival.
He said that the new Iranian Supreme Leader, Mojtaba, cannot "appear in public," as Iran previously aired his first statement via a television anchor in his name.
He said: "We have eliminated the previous tyrant, and the new tyrant—a puppet of the Revolutionary Guard—cannot appear in public."
He emphasized that one of the current war objectives is to create conditions for the Iranian people to overthrow Iran's existing regime.
Netanyahu said he led numerous open and covert operations against Iran, aimed at preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.
He said previous military strikes against Iran have greatly weakened Iran's capabilities, including a fatal attack by the Israeli military on a senior Iranian nuclear scientist last June, and the recent attacks on several other (Iranian top scientists).
