A British owner has a kitten named Peanut, who usually goes out for walks but always comes home on time. However, unexpectedly, in June last year, Peanut left home and never returned.
The owner tried searching, but there was no news of Peanut. Then, a month later, a bar 53 kilometers away suddenly contacted her, saying that Peanut was in their shop.
It turned out that on July 9, the bar staff had found Peanut. They immediately took the cat to have her microchip scanned, obtained the owner's information, and got in touch. The bar staff found Peanut, scanned her microchip, and found the owner's details.
The owner was very surprised. She guessed that Peanut might have jumped into someone's car and ended up so far away, suspecting it was a coincidence. So she picked up Peanut and brought her home. After this unexpected experience, she kept a very close eye on the cat. But at the end of August, Peanut disappeared again.
While the owner was anxiously searching, two days later, the bar contacted her again, saying that Peanut had shown up there once more... Even with her owner's careful watch, the cat still managed to run all the way to the same bar.
The owner and the bar were both speechless: They'd never heard of a runaway kitten going twice to the exact same place, especially one so far away...
She once again drove over to pick up the cat and stated that from now on, she would keep the house tightly locked to make sure not even a fly could get out. After being found and brought home by the owner, Peanut is now under strict supervision and is only allowed to stay indoors.
