Two Trains Collide in Denmark, Leaving 17 Injured

Two trains collided near Denmark’s capital Copenhagen on the 23rd, resulting in 17 people injured, 4 of whom are seriously hurt.

Police received a report at 6:30 a.m. local time. The accident occurred between the towns of Hillerød and Kagerup, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of Copenhagen.
The cause of the train collision is still unknown.
After the two trains collided head-on, large numbers of police and emergency rescue personnel rushed to the scene.

Police and rescue departments stated that all passengers have been evacuated by rescue personnel, with no one currently trapped. Relevant roads in the affected area have been closed. The cause of the accident is still unclear.
