Spent Nearly 40 Million to Buy Repulse Bay Luxury Home: Rumor Has It Richie Jen Holds Over 270 Million in Assets

Singing legend Eason Chan and Taiwanese singer Richie Jen both recently spent heavily on Hong Kong property. Among them, Richie Jen and his wife Chen Zeyu jointly, under their company name, splurged HKD 68.8 million (approximately RM37.15 million) to purchase a famous Repulse Bay luxury apartment, featuring 4 bedrooms and a parking space, with a usable floor area of 2,197 square feet.

It is rumored that he possesses over HKD 500 million (about RM270 million) in assets. This year, his large-scale "Qi Ji 2026" tour is raking in substantial earnings. Having just completed his Hohhot show, he took a holiday to recharge in Shijiazhuang, preparing for the upcoming 6 Shenyang performances scheduled over the next half month. Afterwards, there will be more shows in Lanzhou, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, and other cities across China. At the end of October, he will take his concerts down under to Sydney and Melbourne, amassing great wealth!

As for Eason Chan, he was also recently discovered to have spent HKD 180 million (about RM97.2 million) to acquire a high-priced, single-numbered top-tier villa in Shouson Hill, Southern District. The usable area reaches 2,808 square feet, featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suites, a storage room, a 419-square-foot private garden, and a 580-square-foot terrace.

In fact, as early as 2013, Eason had already spent HKD 231 million (about RM125 million) to purchase another large house of over 3,238 square feet in the same development, making a massive investment. The new villa Eason bought is just three houses away from his old residence; perhaps, being a "matchmaker," he wants his family to have more private space while still being close for easy care — hence the decision to buy nearby.
