South Korean girl group Girls' Generation's 36-year-old member Tiffany Young is active in both singing and acting. Last year, she starred in the Disney+ original series "Uncle Samsik," and is rumored to have developed a real relationship with 39-year-old actor Byun Yo-han after 1.5 years of secretly dating, with a wedding planned for next fall.
Tiffany has ended her 5-year contract with Sublime and is looking for a new company. Today, Byun Yo-han’s agency TEAMHOPE issued a statement confirming, “The two actors are currently seriously dating with marriage as a premise,” and added, “Although there is currently no specific (wedding) date set, both actors have stated that once it is decided, they wish to inform their fans at the first possible moment. We also hope that everyone will pray for their future together with grace and love.” If Tiffany does get married next year, she will become the first member of Girls' Generation to get married.
The two met last year when they co-starred in "Uncle Samsik," and developed feelings for each other through romantic scenes such as kissing scenes in the drama. At the time, Tiffany played a foundation board member fluent in English, and once revealed: “I am a loyal fan of Byun Yo-han, and on set he was like a unicorn, a very passionate person. I tried my best to absorb his energy and learn from him.” Byun Yo-han said, “Tiffany is my English teacher and I really depended on her on set.” Now, they have come to fruition.
