(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei presided over the 227th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Liquefied Natural Gas Sdn Bhd (BLNG) and the 113th Q3 2025 Board Performance Meeting of Brunei Gas Carriers (BGC).
The meetings were held at the Prime Minister’s Office building.
Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew, and Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (Energy), Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi.
At the start of the meeting, His Majesty delivered a royal address stressing the importance of heightened vigilance on safety, advancing sustainable development and organizational improvements, and maintaining focus in the coming months.
His Majesty also emphasized the need to uphold the highest standards of safety and asset management, ensure strict implementation, and carry out forward-looking planning in order to safeguard and strengthen the long-term resilience of the company.
The meeting also discussed key issues including operational performance, safety, finance, human resources development, as well as the long-term strategies of BLNG and BGC.
His Majesty is scheduled to preside over the 416th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Shell Petroleum Company (BSP) and the 194th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei Shell Marketing Company (BSM) (Q3 2025) tomorrow.
