(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) The 36th Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO), organized by the Civil Service Department, raised 41,540 yuan, which was donated to the Ministry of Health's Patient Assistance Charity Fund (TABP).
The Ministry of Health's acting permanent secretary, Hajah Tafidah, accepted the donation on behalf of the ministry at an event.
In addition to monetary donations, the project also successfully collected in-kind donations of medical equipment and items needed by patients, including wheelchairs and milk powder, estimated to be worth about 5,000 yuan.
This activity, named "Giving Help, Brightening Lives," aims, among other goals, to raise public awareness and understanding of patients facing psychosocial problems referred to the Ministry of Health's Medical Social Work Services, and to raise funds to ensure these patients continue to receive immediate healthcare and psychosocial support while waiting for further assistance from two related agencies, thereby improving their health and quality of life.
The public is welcome to donate to the Patient Assistance Charity Fund (TABP) in the form of cash or goods. Donation methods are as follows:
