(Bandar Seri Begawan, 4th) The National Development Plan Unit of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, in collaboration with the Belait District Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, held the “RKN Roadshow” on December 2, 2025 (Tuesday) at the Old Airport Road Hall in Belait, aimed at promoting the Twelfth National Development Plan (RKN12).
Pegawai Daerah Pengiran Mohamad Amir Mubarak, Acting District Officer of Brunei-Muara District, attended the event as the guest of honour.
The “RKN Roadshow” is an initiative by the Ministry of Economy to publicize the RKN12 plan, which serves as a crucial foundation supporting the realization of Brunei Vision 2035.
The roadshow also highlighted the important role of local administrators, village heads, and the private sector in actively participating in economic growth, as well as the significance of local entrepreneurs and developers participating in development projects across the country.
The implementation of RKN12 development projects in Brunei-Muara District will focus on improving infrastructure, including industrial areas, education and healthcare facilities, public amenities, and on launching initiatives supporting new economic growth through digitalization and green technologies.
During the event, in addition to the Twelfth National Development Plan (RKN12) briefing by the Authority on Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi, under the Ministry of Development) and the awarding of the Brunei Green Integrated Certification Mark (BAGUS), there was also a small RKN12 exhibition, as well as booths by village councils and micro, small and medium enterprises to promote local products and culture.
