The police will mobilize more than a thousand officers to maintain security during the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to our country.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Rusdi stated that security will be heightened during this period, with a total of 1,098 police officers deployed, and the Bukit Aman Police Headquarters will also provide assistance.
“This is a very important visit, and the security level is determined based on assessment. This is also the standard operating procedure for similar visits.”
He pointed out that routes would be closed when Xi Jinping travels to and from the hotel.
“Once the delegation arrives at the hotel, the road leading to the hotel will be completely closed.”
Furthermore, any movement of the delegation will result in road closures for security reasons. “We urge the public to cooperate.”
