(Kuching, 24th) A 42-year-old man was found dead in his car on October 23rd at the Demak Laut Customs Residential Area.
Kuching District Police Chief, ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, stated that police received a call from the public at 9:08 AM, stating that a man had fallen unconscious in a car at the residential area.
Subsequently, officers from the Gita Police Station rushed to the scene and found the local man already unconscious.
Medical personnel from Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) arrived and confirmed the man had passed away. The body was then sent to the hospital’s forensic department for an autopsy.
Preliminary investigations show that there are no signs of foul play in the incident, and police are treating the case as a sudden death.
The police urge anyone with information to contact Gita Police Station Head, ASP Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Ali at 019-5131156, or call the station at 082-254417, or report to the nearest police station with tips.
The police also advise the public not to speculate about the case out of respect for the family of the deceased.
