(Kuching, 11th) A high-level meeting held in Kuala Lumpur yesterday (February 10th) focused on strengthening cooperation between the federal and state governments, as well as efforts to improve the well-being of the people.
According to TVS reports, the Chief Ministers and Menteris Besar meeting took place at the Parliament building and was chaired by Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar.
Anwar stated that one of the topics discussed at the meeting was to enhance collaboration between the federal government and each state government, especially in terms of policy coordination and implementing development plans in a more organized and effective manner.
In a media statement, he pointed out that the meeting also touched on the people's welfare and well-being, ensuring that every decision made could be translated into tangible benefits that the public can directly feel.
The meeting began at 2:30 pm, with attendees including Deputy Prime Minister Dato' Amar Fadillah Yusof, Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari, and Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
The 148th meeting was also attended by several cabinet ministers, including Education Minister Fadhlina, Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Zulkifli Ahmad, as well as Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Samsudin.
In addition to Abang Johari and Hajiji, the meeting was also attended by the Menteris Besar of Perlis, Kedah, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan, and Perak, as well as the Chief Minister of Penang.
