(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) The Public Works Department of the Ministry of Development announced yesterday that emergency repairs are underway on the water pipeline at the 107.8 km point of the Muara-Tutong Highway, which may result in water outages or reduced water pressure in some areas of Brunei-Muara District during this period.
The affected areas include parts of Lambak Kanan Village, Royal Brunei Air Force Defence Academy, parts of Tanah Jambu Village, Salambigar Village, Maragang Village, and surrounding areas. The repair works commenced yesterday.
The authorities stated that affected residents may obtain water from the blue water tanks set up in Maragang Village. The locations include Simpang 32, Jalan Binuroh intersection, Rancangan Perumahan Kampong Lagang, Maragang Village Mosque, and Simpang 70, Jalan Kamansi intersection.
In addition, members of the public who require water tanker services may contact the Darussalam Hotline at 123 for assistance.
