(Bandar Seri Begawan, 4th) South Korean Ambassador to Brunei Son Nam-guk held a Korean cooking class for women at the embassy residence yesterday.
The event primarily showcased two popular Korean dishes: kimchi (a type of kimchi made with scallions) and japchae (a classic stir-fry made with sweet potato starch noodles and colorful vegetables).
The event began with welcoming remarks by Son Nam-guk, followed by a group photo, and then a hands-on cooking class by Chef Park Gun-wook. Participants included spouses of former senior officials, well-known businessmen, and CEOs who enjoyed this cultural experience and took home the dishes they made.
This event provided a warm and engaging platform to share Korean culinary traditions and foster friendships through cuisine.
