(Kuala Belait, 27th) St. John School organized the 2025 annual appreciation luncheon.
This event was held on November 22 at the River Heights Banquet Hall in Plaza Sutera Biru.
After the conclusion of various important school activities in November, St. John School specially hosted the annual appreciation luncheon to thank all faculty and staff for their hard work and dedication. This has become a school tradition, aiming to express heartfelt gratitude for the devotion, service, and achievements of all school members.
The luncheon kicked off with a group photo, showcasing the unity and camaraderie among the entire staff. Afterwards, Principal Teh Keng Watt delivered the opening speech. She warmly welcomed all guests and emphasized the important contributions of every staff member to the school. Then, everyone enjoyed a sumptuous and delicious buffet.
One of the highlights of the gathering was the presentation of long service awards to recognize colleagues for their many years of dedication:
The award-winning teachers included Mr. Matthew Lim Toh Loy (10 years);
Ms. Sharmila Binti Abdullah (20 years), Ms. Sarina Binti Hj Yusof (20 years), Ms. Shirin Chan Siew Hua (20 years), Ms. Fatimah Binti Abdullah Balik (@Fatimah Anak Balik) (35 years), and Ms. Nur Alyanna Qairina Binti Abdullah William (@Magdelene) (35 years).
All teachers and students also paid tribute to Ms. Mariam Sofiah Binti Abdullah Dimanlig (@Ashley Marie T. Dimanlig), who will be leaving St. John School. Her years of service and contributions were recognized and appreciated, and the school expresses its heartfelt thanks for her contributions.
To thank the teachers for their hard work during the successful 95th Anniversary School Celebration Dinner, the school's board specially presented red envelopes as a token of appreciation.
