(Miri, 15th) In conjunction with the birthday of Mazu, the Miri Tua Pek Kong Temple along with the Miri Bao An Gong will hold a "Mazu Sea Patrolling Blessing Ceremony" at 9 AM on the 19th of this month. The aim is to show respect and gratitude to Mazu. It is also hoped that Mazu will bless the believers who go to sea with safety and abundance.

This marks the first time the golden statue of Mazu from Miri Tua Pek Kong Temple embarks on a sea journey, holding significant meaning. On that day, the Mazu statue will be transported in a decorated lorry departing for the SOLITAIRE pier following a designated route, then taking a boat for a sea patrol before returning to the temple for seating.

This ceremony marks the first sea patrol of the Mazu golden statue from Miri Tua Pek Kong Temple, and the journey will be entirely conducted using a decorated lorry to the pier. After the ceremony at the pier, the sea patrolling round trip will be conducted using a boat.

The organizers specifically urge the public to cooperate with traffic control measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the parade and public safety. Vehicles along the way are requested not to park indiscriminately on the roadside, drivers should slow down, and adhere to the instructions of on-duty police officers.
