Miri Methodist Church Organizes 'Run of Love • Convey Hope' Charity Run with Over 1300 Participants Enthusiastically Joining

(Miri, 15th) Organized by the Methodist Church of Miri District, Sarawak, the 'Run of Love • Convey Hope' charity run has received an enthusiastic response, with registrations exceeding 1300 people. The event will be grandly held on April 26th (Saturday) at 6:00 am, with the Executive Vice Chairman of Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd, Datuk James Ling, serving as the guest of honor and officiating the flag-off ceremony.

Committee Chairman, Pastor Chen Junjie, expressed that the organizers initially hoped to attract at least 1200 participants. He thanked the generous public and congregation members of the Miri District Methodist Church for their strong support, which surpassed the target, fully demonstrating the compassion and unity of society.

He pointed out that this charity run is not only in response to the celebration of the 140th anniversary of the establishment of the Methodist Church in Malaysia but also aims to raise funds for the Methodist Relief & Development (MCRD) to aid disaster-affected communities, conveying warmth in society.

The gathering point for the charity run is set at the Tokyo Marine Life Insurance Malaysia building (Lot 2243, Jalan MS2/2, Marina Time Square 2, Marina Park City Miri), urging all registered participants to check-in by 6:00 am. The praise aerobics will kick off the event at 6:15 am, and the charity run will start at 6:30 am.
