(Bandar Seri Begawan, 5th) — The annual 'Sultan with the People Celebration' has reached its final event today. Renowned Bruneian photographer Wong Chipeng seized this rare opportunity to present two photographs of the Sultan, personally taken by him, to His Majesty as a birthday gift.
In addition to gifting the Sultan these photographic works, Wong Chipeng also presented Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Abdul Mateen with a heartfelt photo he personally took, capturing a precious moment of the Prince holding his beloved daughter.
This work authentically portrays the warm and natural side of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Abdul Mateen, carrying special commemorative value. The Prince gladly accepted this precious gift.
Wong Chipeng also respectfully invited the Sultan to personally autograph one of his Sultan portraits, adding extraordinary significance to the work and making it a unique, highly historic and collectible memento.
Wong Chipeng stated that obtaining the Sultan's signature is one of the most precious and unforgettable moments in his photography career. This is not only an affirmation of his photographic works but also a tremendous encouragement for his years of persistence in documenting the nation's significant celebrations and royal events.

Wong Chipeng has been passionate about photography for many years, especially fond of capturing treasured scenes of the Sultan and royal family members at national celebrations, official events, and their interactions with the public. Through his lens, he documents the development and historical moments of Brunei. In addition to royal photography, he is also passionate about landscape photography.
