Malaysia Chinese Entertainment 'Most Dominant' Awards Ceremony Celebrates Popularity and Talent Practitioners

To unite the power of the Malaysian Chinese entertainment industry, the brand-new ceremony, "8TV CUCKOO Most Dominant Entertainment Ceremony," has introduced the forward-thinking "Starfluencer" concept for the first time. This concept cleverly combines "Star" and "Influencer," symbolizing that the nominees not only have high popularity but also possess artistic expression and social resonance. The core idea of the ceremony "Support every talent, illuminate every star" highlights the organizers' firm mission to promote local originality and cross-field cooperation.

8TV Chief Operating Officer Ooi Fuan Yon stated at the launch event: "We hope that through this ceremony, more local talents will be seen and pay tribute to those who have been working hard in the Chinese entertainment industry. This is not just an award ceremony, but a representation of cultural mission."
Program Director Huang Yu Li announced that the awards will include the "Top Thirty Most Dominant Artists Award," which combines professional judging and public voting, as well as several professional awards such as the "Most Dominant Film Actor Award," "Most Dominant Singer Award," "Most Dominant Content Creator Award," to "Most Dominant News Anchor Award," showcasing the comprehensive strength of Malaysia's Chinese entertainment industry. The "Top Ten Most Dominant Chinese Songs Award" and "Top Ten Most Dominant Chinese New Year Songs Award," selected by public vote, will also allow fans to participate enthusiastically.
The professional judging panel, led by Chief Judge Da Bao, comprises of experienced industry professionals, media personnel, musicians, and content creators, who will review each nominee list with rigorous standards. In addition, some awards will be open to public voting, allowing the audience to decide the "most dominant" in their hearts.
This ceremony is organized by 8TV, sponsored by CUCKOO, with Adonis Aimeia as a partner, and is supported by authoritative bodies such as the Malaysia Chinese Film and Television Association and Music Boleh Community. "Kwong Wah Daily," "Rojaklah," "YesBoss," and "A Kind Man" are the media partners of this event.
