The Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a statement pointing out that a cargo ship flying the Liberian flag and a cargo ship flying the Thai flag disregarded warnings from the Revolutionary Guard Navy and forcibly crossed the Strait of Hormuz. Both were attacked by Iranian forces and forced to stop.
The statement said the Strait of Hormuz is under the strict control of the Revolutionary Guard Navy, and that "the American aggressors and their allies have no right of passage."
Change in Strike Strategy
On the 11th, the spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Khatam Al-Anbiya of the Iranian Armed Forces stated that Iran's former strategy of "reciprocal retaliation" had ended. From now on, Iran will implement a strategy of "consecutive strikes."
The spokesperson said that any ships belonging to the United States, Israel, and their allies, as well as any oil cargo they carry, will be regarded as legitimate targets by Iranian armed forces.
The spokesperson stated that Iran will absolutely not allow a single drop of oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz that allows the United States, Israel, and their allies to profit from it.
