This was an intergenerational dialogue aimed at enhancing interaction between members of parliament, civil society leaders, and government officials.
The roundtable provided a platform to ensure that community-driven insights could effectively guide national policymaking and promote continued progress in women's participation, leadership, and welfare.

Participants engaged in group discussions, with each group focusing on one of three key themes: living with integrity and safety, accessing opportunities for growth, and contributing to and leading in community life.
In her opening address, Member of Parliament Shaikh stated, "Each roundtable has been carefully designed to reflect the experiences and expertise of all parties. We hope this will not only create space for in-depth discussions within each group but also promote collaboration across the three dimensions."
She also expressed her hope: "The insights and ideas shared in the discussions will lay the foundation for smarter, more inclusive, and more responsive policymaking, which should be based on a committed dialogue, stronger partnerships, and real progress in enhancing Brunei women's leadership and welfare."
At the end of the event, attendees visited the Constitution Hall located in the historic Brunei History Centre.
The Brunei History Centre is the original site of the Legislative Council meetings in the 1950s. This visit served as a symbolic reflection on Brunei governance and the important role women play in shaping Brunei's future. The shared insights lay the foundation for creating more inclusive and responsive policies, which should be based on dialogue, partnerships, and a collective commitment to enhancing Brunei women's leadership and welfare.
