Crown Prince Presides Over Sacrificial Ceremony, Distributes Meat to Underprivileged Groups

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 8th) Over 15,000 underprivileged individuals received sacrificial meat during the annual Sacrifice Festival.
The ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at the Hassanal Bolkiah venue in Kampong Kiarong, followed by a collective prayer procession.
Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, and Prince Abdul Malik attended the ceremony and personally slaughtered two goats as part of the sacrificial rites.
The remaining sacrificial animals were contributed in the name of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei and Her Majesty the Queen.
A total of 206 animals (including 192 cows and 14 goats) were slaughtered, and the sacrificial meat was distributed to 15,054 impoverished families and their relatives across the country.
This event was coordinated by the Royal Sacrificial High Committee and jointly presided over by senior religious and government officials, including the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Second Minister of Defence, the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
