This training course was jointly held by the Tourism Development Department and Safe Fast Training Academy, aiming to equip tourism service providers with basic response measures to handle emergencies during tourism activities.
The course content included cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), minor injury management, methods to deal with sudden incidents such as fainting and heat stroke, as well as procedures for providing basic first aid to tourists in need.
This training is expected to enhance tourism service providers' preparedness, responsiveness, and confidence in emergency situations, and supports the authorities' ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of tourists.
This initiative reflects the Tourism Development Department's continued commitment to promoting national tourism service safety standards and service quality, while also fostering a culture of proactivity, responsiveness, and safety awareness among tourism service providers in their work.
Through this training, the Tourism Development Department hopes that more tourism service providers will acquire basic first aid knowledge and skills, thereby offering a safer, higher-quality, and friendlier tourism experience for visitors to Brunei.
Such training will continue to be held periodically as part of the nation's tourism sector capability and professional development program.
