(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) The Institute of Brunei Technical Education Jefri Bolkiah Campus (IBTE JBC) is continuously fostering a culture of safety, health, and leadership among students and staff through the 'Safety, Health, Innovation, Excellence, Leadership Development' (SHIELD) program. This initiative aims to enhance safety education while also promoting personal health and professional growth.
As part of this initiative, the school recently held a 'One-day Fruit Day' event to encourage all students and staff to develop healthy lifestyles and good dietary habits. The activity not only emphasized the importance of personal health in creating a safe and effective learning environment, but also strengthened the values advocated by the IBTE SHIELD program through teamwork, collaboration, and community participation activities.
The school administration stated that they hope 'One-day Fruit Day' will become an annual event, further promoting a culture of health and safety across all campuses. The program also aims to inspire students and staff to actively participate in related activities, foster innovative thinking, and integrate health, leadership, and safety awareness into educational and professional environments.
Through the IBTE SHIELD program, IBTE is committed to cultivating well-rounded talents equipped with safety awareness, health consciousness, and a sense of responsibility, so as to contribute to Brunei's workforce and society.
