A Turkish cargo ship in the Black Sea was attacked by drones, leaving 3 crew members seriously injured.
According to Turkey's Ihlas News Agency on the 3rd, the cargo ship, loaded with fresh vegetables and fruits, departed from Turkey's Samsun Port bound for Russia's Novorossiysk Port. It came under attack in the Black Sea waters. The ship caught fire after the attack, and 4 crew members were injured, with 3 seriously wounded.
Local media, citing Turkey’s Directorate General of Maritime Affairs, reported that the attack took place approximately 20 nautical miles from Russia's Novorossiysk Port. The attacked ship was flying the flag of Cameroon. All 23 crew members on board have been taken by the Russian Navy to Novorossiysk Port.
According to local media quoting the attacked ship's captain, multiple Ukrainian drones carried out the attack on the cargo ship.
