Taipei-Shanghai Twin Cities Forum will be hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Government this year and is set to take place on the 25th.

There are reports that Taipei Mayor Jiang Wan-an will lead a delegation to Shanghai for three days on the 25th to participate. On the 12th, Jiang Wan-an did not directly confirm this, only stating that documents had already been submitted to the central government for review, and any updates will be further announced to the public.

Taiwanese media reported that Jiang Wan-an will lead a group to Shanghai on the 25th and participate on the 26th in the 16th Twin Cities Forum, themed "AI and Urban Governance". It is expected that two Memoranda of Understanding will be signed, followed by a return to Taiwan on the 27th.

When asked by the media on the 12th, Jiang Wan-an said that the city government had submitted the required documents to the central authorities for review in accordance with the law, and further information will be communicated when available.

When pressed by the media on his expectations for the Twin Cities Forum, Jiang Wan-an stated that the city government has always upheld the principles of equality, dignity, goodwill, and reciprocity in promoting exchanges between the two cities of Taipei and Shanghai.
