Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah, acting under the directive of His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, presided over an award ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman today. A total of 487 distinguished individuals were conferred the “Pingat Indah Kerja Baik” (PIKB) in recognition of their significant contributions to the nation.

A total of 487 distinguished individuals were conferred the “Pingat Indah Kerja Baik” (PIKB) in recognition of their significant contributions to the nation.
The award recipients include 174 men and 313 women from various government departments and private sectors.
According to statistics, the Ministry of Health had the highest number of recipients, with 171 individuals (43 men, 128 women), followed by the Ministry of Home Affairs with 69 individuals (46 men, 23 women), and the Ministry of Development with 55 recipients (20 men, 35 women).
The Ministry of Education also had a substantial number of recipients, totaling 147 individuals (47 men, 100 women). The Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports contributed 28 recipients (10 men, 18 women), while the private sector accounted for 17 recipients (8 men, 9 women).
