Central Hospital Experiences Sudden Power Outage, Technical Investigation Underway

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th) Brunei's Ministry of Health has reported that Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital (RIPAS) recently experienced a sudden electricity supply interruption, affecting the operations of several wards. The affected areas include wards 1, 2, 6, 7, 12, 14, 19, 20, and 23, as well as the Cardiac Care Unit.
The Ministry stated that a technical investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the incident, and related repair and maintenance work is being carried out in stages. Full restoration of safe power supply will require more time.
The hospital will continue to update patients and visitors regarding the progress of repairs and the status of affected services.
