In a ceremony showcasing the distinctive identity and cultural heritage of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Majesty was welcomed by Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong and received a guard of honor inspection upon arrival.
During the ceremony, the national anthems of both countries were played, and His Majesty, together with the Vietnamese President, reviewed the guard of honor.
During the ceremony, His Majesty also met with Vietnamese dignitaries, while the Vietnamese President met with members of the Bruneian delegation.
This visit was made at the invitation of the President of Vietnam.
