(Thailand, 14th) The Consulate General of Malaysia in Songkhla has issued a warning that between December 12th and 20th, southern Thailand will experience continued heavy rainfall, which may trigger flooding, urging Malaysian citizens to stay alert.
In a statement released on Friday (12th) through social media platforms X and Instagram, the Malaysian Consulate General in Songkhla stated that, according to weather forecasts, persistent heavy rain is expected again in southern Thailand from December 12th to 20th, which could potentially cause flash floods.
The Consulate therefore calls on Malaysian citizens in southern Thailand to remain vigilant regarding local weather conditions during this period, keep updated with announcements, news, and advice from local authorities, and to look after their own safety.
