Chemistry Olympiad: Jerudong International School Achieves Great Success

 (Bandar Seri Begawan, 16th) 15 students from Jerudong International School (JIS) recently participated in the 57th Chemistry Olympiad organized by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and achieved great success.

 All 15 participating students received awards, including 2 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals. The competition attracted over 16,000 students from around the world, and only the top 8% received gold medals. Two students from the school stood out, Amanda Goh and Zain, both winning gold medals.

 Additionally, the top 25% of students received silver medals, with 10 students from the school making the list. They are Pengiran Qaiyimah Nurul Bolkiah bint Pengiran Haji Md Hakimmuddin, Gideon Chan, Rahu Dara, Layena, Alicia, Harris, Nihalet, Syifa Alaya, and Syaufwan Nur Baqiri.

 Meanwhile, Li Jia Chong, Nadian, and Marini received bronze medals.

 The Chemistry Olympiad is the most important chemistry competition for secondary school students in the UK. Its purpose is to challenge and inspire the most talented young chemists and encourage them to apply their understanding in an abstract way.
