(Kuching, 23rd) In conjunction with the construction of viaduct pillars, a temporary road diversion will be implemented for 7 months from today (July 23rd) until February 16th, 2026, on the section of Jalan Tun Jugah in Kuching, in front of '101 Food Court.'
Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd issued a notice stating that the diversion will be enforced 24 hours a day until project completion, in order to ensure the safety of road users and construction personnel.
“All road users are advised to be extra cautious when driving along this section.”
“Please comply with all traffic management measures, road warning signs and speed limits to ensure road safety during the construction period.”
Sarawak Metro also pledged to inform the public in a timely manner if there are any further changes.
The authorities also urge road users to plan their journeys in advance to avoid congestion or delays.
