(Miri, 25th) In conjunction with the 20th anniversary of Miri's city upgrade, the Food, Art, and Culture Carnival featured the 2025 "Creative Ideas" 3R Children's Eco-Friendly Costume Contest 3.0 at the fan-shaped park stage last night, adding creativity and eco-friendly elements to the two-week carnival.
During the event, Green Summit Development Group handed over a sponsorship of RM32,500 to the Miri City Council for the city celebration. Deputy Mayor Arifin represented Mayor Yoo Sheau Shan to receive it, witnessed by the Chairman of the 20th Anniversary Celebration Committee, Councillor Liu Yijie, and Miri City Council Tourism Development Task Group Chairman, Councillor Fan Hongxiang.
Green Summit Development Group's CEO, Hsu Xinlong, expressed that the group is honored to participate in the 20th anniversary celebration. “Reflecting on 10 years ago when I was a city councillor for Miri's 10th anniversary, it was one of the proudest moments in my public service career. Participating again now holds special meaning for me.”
He highly praised the efforts made by the Miri City Council under Mayor Yoo Sheau Shan and the team of councillors for the month-long "Miri May Carnival".
