(Germany, 12th) — Police in Giessen, Hesse, central Germany, reported that a shooting incident occurred at a local market square on the 11th, leaving at least three people injured.
After the incident, the shooter fled, but police later confirmed that the suspect has been arrested. The wounded have been taken to the hospital and are not in critical condition.
Police said the shooting happened around 3 p.m.
The market square was temporarily sealed off, but order has now been restored and there is no danger to the public.
