(Bandar Seri Begawan, 3rd) – On the morning of September 10, 2025, Chung Hwa Middle School, Brunei welcomed an education delegation consisting of administrators from 14 Singaporean educational institutions. The delegation conducted in-depth visits to the school’s modern teaching facilities, such as the 3D printing room and centennial memorial hall, and engaged in extensive teaching exchanges with the school’s administration and teachers.

Campus Tour: Emphasizing Both Technology and Humanities
At 9:00 a.m., the delegation arrived at the campus of Chung Hwa Middle School. Accompanied by school administrators, the delegation first toured the state-of-the-art 3D printing room. Teaching models and cultural emblems were being printed in the lab, and the Singaporean educators paused to observe and inquired in detail about the curriculum. The Chung Hwa technical teacher explained that 3D printing not only cultivates students’ innovative abilities but also serves as a bridge connecting tradition and modernity.

At the centennial memorial hall, the delegation experienced an immersive interactive teaching system. Chung Hwa teachers demonstrated how virtual reality can recreate historical scenes, organically combining Chinese language education with technological methods to promote interdisciplinary teaching.

Exchange and Seminar: Emphasis on Digitalization and Heritage
At the following discussion session, both sides discussed “Educational Innovation and Cultural Heritage in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.” Principal Xu Yuelan of Chung Hwa noted that the school upholds the motto of “propriety, righteousness, integrity, and sense of shame,” and adheres to the principle of “trilingual emphasis and balanced fivefold development,” actively integrating the latest educational technologies.

She emphasized that, as Brunei’s first Microsoft Showcase School, Chung Hwa continues to promote the integration of digital tools and teaching methods through ongoing reviews. She expressed that this visit is not only an exchange between education systems but also an exploration of possibilities for students’ future development.

The Singaporean education delegation also shared their experiences in smart education, and felt that Chung Hwa’s proactive drive toward educational innovation while maintaining cultural characteristics is worthy of learning.

Prospects for Collaboration: Building a Cross-National Education Platform Together
This visit paved new paths for education cooperation between the two countries. The two sides preliminarily reached three collaboration intentions: teacher and student exchanges, curriculum resource sharing, and professional development cooperation.

Principal Xu expressed that Chung Hwa looks forward to mutual learning with Singapore in curriculum design, student development, and educational innovation, thereby propelling educational undertakings forward together.

She concluded by emphasizing the hope that this visit marks the beginning of long-term friendship and continued cooperation, jointly injecting momentum into educational innovation and cultural heritage.
