The event was co-organized by the Brunei Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Cultural Association, attracting enthusiastic participation from guests, families, and the media, filling the venue with a strong festive atmosphere.
This event, themed “Flourishing Spring Brushstrokes,” served as a community-centered Chinese New Year celebration, aiming to let the public personally experience the unique charm and cultural essence of Chinese calligraphy, an important art form during the festival. Through an open and interactive workshop format, the event promoted cultural exchanges and strengthened community bonds.
One of the highlights was the VIP Calligraphy Ceremony, jointly hosted by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Brunei, Chen Shaochun, together with Berjaya Group management and invited representatives from the cultural community, bringing the event to its climax.
