(Seria, 24th)—Belait Sixth Form Centre (PTEB) held a ‘PTEB Further Education Guidance Roadshow’ for all Year 11 students from three private secondary schools in the Seria area on the morning of the 14th (Wednesday) from 10am to 12:15pm at the Chung Ching Golden Jubilee Hall, attracting around 160 student participants.

The participating schools included Chung Ching Middle School, St. Margaret’s School, and St. Angela’s School. Principal Chin Ai Fong and Deputy Principal (Academic) Lee Siew Peng @ Joanne of Belait Sixth Form Centre were also present to give their support to the event.

The aim of this roadshow was to provide students and parents with crucial information and professional advice regarding further studies, helping students plan their Sixth Form studies and future development paths more effectively. The event featured two themed sharing sessions: the first focused on entry requirements for various Sixth Form subjects and an overview of Cambridge International AS and A Level examination formats; the second centred on the wide range of progression pathways after A Level, including information on scholarships and financial assistance opportunities.

In addition to the keynote talks, the event offered subject consultation booths, allowing students and parents to communicate directly with teachers, gain deeper understanding of course options, clarify future directions, and receive individualised advice and answers regarding further education.

Belait Sixth Form Centre stated that this PTEB Further Education Guidance Roadshow represents the centre’s ongoing effort to support students’ smooth transition and growth, hoping to provide students and their families with comprehensive and accurate information and support at this critical stage of educational decision-making.
