Singapore's Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, his wife Ho Ching, and diplomatic officials will attend Abdullah's state funeral in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
This morning (15th), he posted on Facebook stating that he had known Abdullah before he became Prime Minister. Abdullah served the country with great dedication, strived to tackle various challenges in Malaysia, and was committed to improving the lives of the people.
“We also worked together to promote friendly and cooperative relations between Singapore and Malaysia. In 2007, we held the first annual informal summit of Singapore and Malaysian leaders in Langkawi, a tradition that continues with successive leaders to this day.”
He extended his deepest condolences to Abdullah's family and the Malaysian people.
Lee Hsien Loong and his wife arrived at the mosque to pay their respects to Abdullah at 11:20 am.
