At 23 years old, Lai Kuan-lin has been away from the industry for a year. On Weibo, “Wanho Tianyi Films” posted a welcome message for Lai Kuan-lin as the company’s first director born after the year 2000. The company praised him for his passion, energy, keen perception, and straightforwardness: “He has a talent for expression, the determination to reach for the world, and the courage to return to his roots. He is a natural creator.” However, the company also pointed out that success can’t be achieved overnight.
