The new film "F1: The Movie" starring Brad Pitt held its grand premiere in London, UK on the 23rd. Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance, joining Brad Pitt on the red carpet, with the mega stars’ show of support becoming the biggest highlight of the event. The two previously starred together in the classic 1994 film "Interview with the Vampire," and this reunion on screen marks their first together in 31 years!
Back then, there were rumors that the two did not get along during their collaboration and ended up parting on bad terms. Although Tom Cruise was already a huge star at the time while Brad Pitt was a rising talent, Cruise reportedly still felt threatened by Pitt’s growing fame and harbored some resentment. In a later interview, Pitt once described their relationship during filming: "While we were making the movie, I really started to resent him. He was the North Pole, and I was the South Pole. That underlying competitiveness got in the way of any real conversation. It bothered me!" In recent months, there have been reports that they have reconciled. Earlier, Cruise revealed that he and Pitt played go-kart together during filming and highly praised Pitt as a “really outstanding driver.” Last week, Pitt mentioned his former co-star in an interview and expressed interest in collaborating with him again.
