Organized by 988 Radio, the annual DJ selection competition "SUPER Trainee 2026 All In!" officially kicked off in March. This year, the event has been fully upgraded with the theme “All In”, featuring the strongest mentor lineup and a brand-new competition format. The winner not only stands a chance to win a 988 DJ contract, but will also walk away with a cash prize of RM1000, becoming the latest and strongest SUPER Trainee on the scene.
This year, the contest continues the team battle format, led by 988 DJ and homeroom teacher Chloe Luo Meiyun and team leader Ning Yiqian, together with veteran DJs including Chen Yijie, Chrystina Huang Weixuan, Cassey Su Yingying, as well as "SUPER Trainee 2025" champion mentor Wang Biaomin. They will provide full guidance to help trainees grow.
Notably, this year sees the debut of the radio drama element, inviting mentors specializing in radio drama voice-over, script performance, and scriptwriting to give hands-on lessons. The competition thus extends from traditional hosting training to vocal performance and character interpretation, with both tracks moving forward together to fully unearth diverse voice talents.
The competition has also removed age restrictions; anyone aged 18 and above who is passionate about broadcasting or voice performance is welcome to sign up. "SUPER Trainee 2026 All In!" is now open for registration, offering both online and offline participation channels. The deadline for online registration is 11:59 PM on March 13, 2026. Participants are required to record a 1-minute creative self-introduction video, upload it to IG or YouTube and set it to public, then fill out the registration form and attach the link to complete the process. The offline audition takes place on March 14, where in addition to submitting the video, participants should also prepare a personal talent performance to showcase their vocal charm live to the judges.
