(Kuching, 23rd) A traffic accident occurred in the early hours today at the Bala Ringin to Serian section, where a passenger cargo truck lost control and veered onto the shoulder of the road, resulting in 11 people being injured.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department's report, authorities received a report at 5:41am and immediately dispatched personnel from the Serian Fire and Rescue Station to the scene to carry out rescue operations.
The report stated that among the injured, one female suffered a fractured leg, while another female sustained waist injuries. The local male driver and the remaining injured only suffered minor injuries.
The accident involved a total of 11 people, including 6 men and 5 women.
After the incident, the Ministry of Health dispatched two ambulances and an Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) team to send the injured to the hospital for further treatment.
