(Miri, 10th) Miri Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry Junior Chamber President Yap Fook Hing stated that the Miri CCCIJ Junior Chamber has steadily grown over the years. The "Miri Young Entrepreneurs Night" was initiated by former president and honorary president Sie Kha Wei, and thanks to the efforts and heritage of successive leadership teams, it has been passed down year after year, becoming a meaningful branded event.
He made these remarks in his speech last night at the "2026 Miri Young Entrepreneurs Night" dinner hosted by the Miri CCCIJ Junior Chamber at the Palace Hotel banquet hall.
He said that as an affiliated organization of the Miri Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Junior Chamber consists of members aged between 18 and 48 years. As long as one operates a company or their parents are members of the Miri Chinese Chamber, they are eligible to join.
He pointed out that the Junior Chamber is not only a platform for building connections and friendships, but members can also get to know local businesses and participate in state-wide, national, and even international events, networking with friends from all over the world.
"This is an excellent platform that allows young entrepreneurs to continuously learn and grow."
Moreover, he mentioned that the Junior Chamber actively organizes various courses, some of which are offered for free or at low cost for members, with priority given to them, in order to help members enhance their abilities and broaden their horizons.
