Chiew Choon Man Inspects Bintang Road National Primary School to Enhance Educational Infrastructure

(Miri, 20th) In line with the implementation of the "Pro-People Plan" in the Miri parliamentary constituency, Miri MP Chiew Choon Man recently visited Bintang Road National Primary School in Miri to inspect the progress of related projects on-site.

This visit coincides with last week's Teacher's Day celebrations. During this time, MP Chiew Choon Man seized the opportunity of the Pro-People Plan to donate a series of facilities to the school to express gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the teachers. The donation includes the addition of 3 new air conditioners for the teachers' office, the installation of new curtains, the donation of 80 new office desks, and the replacement of old and worn-out office furniture.

This project was implemented with close cooperation between the Miri MP's service center and the Bintang Road School Parent-Teacher Association, reflecting a shared concern for improving teacher welfare and the educational environment.

It is understood that the teachers' office at the school was originally faced with issues such as heat and poor ventilation, faded and aged curtains, and dilapidated office desks. These conditions not only affected teachers' daily work efficiency but also indirectly dampened teachers' morale and enthusiasm for teaching.

"This donation not only improves the basic infrastructure of the school but also symbolizes our deep respect for the teaching community. A comfortable and well-equipped work environment is a crucial foundation for cultivating a professional and motivated team of teachers."

He emphasized that the realization of quality education must rely on sound infrastructure and that a good campus environment will nurture excellent teachers, which will, in turn, cultivate potential students.

"This is precisely the talent development cycle we pursue under the 'Prosperous Malaysia' philosophy—an inclusive, comprehensive education system that respects teachers as pillars of the nation."
