Abdul Rahman: 20 Years of Transformation Makes Miri City, the Glory Witnessed by Collective Efforts

(MIRI, 20th) The Acting Secretary of Miri City Council, Abdul Rahman, emphasized that Miri's journey over the past 20 years is a story of transformation, resilience, and ongoing progress. Miri has now become a modern city suitable for living, working, and tourism. He emphasized this in his speech during the flag-raising ceremony held at the City Council this morning. He said today's flag-raising ceremony is not just the prelude to the celebrations but also a symbol of unity, growth, and progress of Miri City over the past 20 years.

 

He said these twenty years have been the result of the joint efforts of leaders, stakeholders, and in particular, all employees of the Miri City Council.

 

In conjunction with the 20th anniversary of Miri's elevation to city status, the Miri City Council held a grand flag-raising ceremony this morning in front of the City Hall, marking the city's entry into a new chapter of development and affirming the achievements and expectations for Miri's development.
